Love
Just completed my most fun project ever - a historical romance - "Luminous Sparrow."
This one was a challenge .
As a writer - who has total control over the characters in her book - I could not get them to fall in love!
Attraction was no problem -- admiration and intrigue was there -- but that abiding commitment "love" just did not happen.
What a learning!
Anyway - it is done. And now I'm looking for Beta Readers - who will dare to join this journey of writing with me -- and give me feedback.
If you send me an email - "Luminous Sparrow" -- I will send you a copy -- and then later organize a zoom discussion. I want to organize a group discussion on this book. Did they fall in love?
Do you have the time, the inclination? The deadline for reading it will be September 8. Send request to [email protected]
Here is the response from the first reader.
I have read your draft. I love the story. The characters were believable and captivating. The plot was intriguing. I liked how the story began and ended and all the switches in between. I learned a lot about Mennonite history and culture in a unique and interesting way.
